Thomas A. O'Connor, MD

Dr. Tom O'Connor is an active member of the medical staff at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, where his primary interest is in the area of neurosurgical anesthesia. He retired in 2006 as chief of the anesthesia department at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, completing over 30 years of administrative experience. He has been a clinical investigator in the area of post-operative nausea and vomiting and has 15 years of experience in management of the difficult airway. His published articles have appeared in: Anesthesiology, Journal of Clinical Anesthesia and Pharmacology. Dr. O'Connor is Clinical Asst. Professor of Anesthesia at the SUNY @ Buffalo School of Medicine from which he received his medical degree in 1970.
